"For this exhibition, I delved into my personal collection of treasured gemstones to create something unique. The opals in this pair of earrings were sourced on two buying trips; the larger opals were a local discovery while visiting Lightning Ridge and the smaller half moons are Coober Pedy opals I picked up in Hong Kong. I am always so proud to champion Australian gems and for the last decade have been especially focused on our world class opals. My intention is to always honour these precious stones in contemporary striking designs that will endure time, becoming tomorrow's heirlooms."
